As Fall Break draws near, many of our seniors are deep in conversations about college applications, career paths, and life after graduation. This season can be both exciting and overwhelming for students and families alike. We encourage you to use the upcoming break as a time to connect with your Senior about their goals, progress on applications, and any support they may need. Whether they’re finalizing essays, exploring gap year options, or considering trade schools or military service, your encouragement and guidance are invaluable. We want to remind you that Senior Dues are currently open for payment and the rate will increase immediately after Fall Break.

Senior Dues
Payment is LIVE for graduation dues at www.3rdascent.com. Dues are currently $150. The dues will increase to $160 on October 1. Dues will increase again on December 1 to $185. Please go ahead and pay your dues to avoid an increase in cost.
Senior Yearbook Ads
Senior yearbook ads are on sale now. The last day to purchase your senior yearbook ad is October 17, 2025.

College Applications
We are approaching our first college application deadlines for Early Action. Please be sure to check with your school counselor for any application related questions.
Transcript Request
We have a school process if your Senior requires a transcript to be sent for an application. Students can request and pay for an electronic transcript thru the Parchment website. Colleges often require transcripts to be sent directly from the school. If your student needs a transcript for their application or Commonapp, please use the Parchment platform.

Senior Parent Night - August 26
If you missed out on our Senior Informational Night that was on August 26, do not worry. The counseling presentation can be found on the EFHS Counseling webpage under Senior Information or click here.
Apply to College Day-November 6
The EFHS Counseling Team will be hosting an Apply to College Day event on Thursday November 6. The event will start at 5:30 in the EFHS media center. Students are encouraged to register through student support time. There will be several college admissions representatives including University of North Georgia, Lanier Tech, and Piedmont college available to answer admission questions. The counseling team as well as other staff members will help students apply to college and answer questions about the application process. Register in student support time today!
