We’re nearing the end of the fall semester, and our seniors are celebrating exciting college acceptances while working hard to finish strong! Keep up the great momentum Broncos and have a happy holiday season!

Senior Dues
Payment is LIVE for graduation dues at www.3rdascent.com. Dues are currently $160. Dues will increase again on December 1 to $185. Please go ahead and pay your dues to avoid an increase in cost.
Trade Talks 2025
Some of our Seniors attended Forsyth County Schools Trade Talks event on November 13 at the FoCAL center. Students were able to learn about the many opportunities available thru the trade industry. There was a panel of professionals from the trade industry that shared valuable experience. Students were also able to walk the trade floor and make connections with many businesses and organizations.
Senior Apply To College Day
Our Seniors attended Apply To College Day on November 6. There were several college representatives that attended to help students with their applications. Our fantastic EFHS English teachers were available to work on college essays. We had over 100 students in attendance and students submitted over 60 applications.
Transcript Request
We have a school process if your Senior requires a transcript to be sent for an application. Students can request and pay for an electronic transcript thru the Parchment website. Colleges often require transcripts to be sent directly from the school. If your student needs a transcript for their application or Commonapp, please use the Parchment platform.

Upcoming Events & Exciting Announcements
ASVAB Test December 3
The EFHS Counseling Department will be hosting the administration of the ASVAB test on December 3. The ASVAB is the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery. The test is for students interested in joining the military as well as students who would want career aptitude feedback. Students who are interested can email their school counselor to register.
Financial Aid Night December 2
The Counseling Team invites students and families to join us for Financial Aid Night!
A representative from the Georgia Student Finance Commission will be on hand to cover:
- Financial Aid options
- FAFSA completion
- Scholarship opportunities
There will also be time for FAFSA assistance, so bring your questions and any necessary documents!
Whether you're just starting the financial aid process or looking for help completing your FAFSA, this event is a great opportunity to get expert guidance.
The event will be on December 2 at 5:30 pm in the Media Center.
