Countdown to Graduation

Graduation Details

General Information:

  • Each graduate will receive 10 tickets for graduation, the graduate does not need a ticket.
  • Gates at the Fairground will open at 8 am for guests.

  • Children ages 3 and under who can sit on a lap do not require a ticket.  

  • There is limited accessible seating for guests available on a first come first served basis. 

Parking Information:

  • Parents and guests should park in the Fairgrounds Parking Lot #3, Castleberry Road. Parents and guests should enter the Arena through Gate C. Handicap parking is available with proper handicap permits. Any special requests for handicap parking should be made to School Safety at 770-888-3466 extension 0.   
  • Graduates received a student parking pass during graduation cap and gown pickup. Graduates should enter to park off of Tolbert Street. 

  • All seniors participating in the ceremony should arrive at the fairgrounds arena no later than 8am.

  • Students may park, using their Graduation Parking Pass, in the reserved lot off of Tolbert St

  • Immediately upon arrival, Seniors will assemble in the staging area, adjacent to the arena.

  •  The graduation ceremony will begin promptly at 9:00am on Saturday, May 16, 2026. 

Senior Attire for Graduation :

The following attire is required for graduates participating in the graduation ceremony. This attire should be worn under the Cap and Gown: 

Boys: 

·                     Dress Shirt (white preferred) 

·                     Dark dress pants 

·                     Tie 

·                     Dark Shoes, no tennis shoes, sandals, or flip flops 

·                     Dark Socks 

Girls: 

·                     Dress no longer than the graduation gown or dark dress slacks 

·                     Dark dress shoes or sandals, no flip flops or tennis  

·                     Avoiding wearing shoes with extremely high heels, you will be walking up and down stairs 

All: 

·                     No monograms, lettering, or any item may be on the Cap and Gown 

·                     Only school issued medallions and chords may be worn 

Diploma Pickup:

Diploma pickup will be in the counseling office the week of 5/18-5/22 from 8:30-3:00.

If students are to pickup a diploma on 5/26, the office will be open until 11:45 am.
