Dual Enrollment

Students must apply to the College Dual Enrollment Program and sign the FCS Dual Enrollment Intent Form by April 24, 2026 to be eligible to participate in 2026-2027.

Research college admissions requirements for Dual Enrollment and decide which college you will apply to. Dual Enrollment information can easily be found by searching “college name” and “dual enrollment.”

Apply to the college of choice on the college website. Ensure you complete your application by the Forsyth County Schools deadline of April 24, 2026, to be eligible for Dual Enrollment in 2026-2027.

Go to the Dual Enrollment page on the college admission website and complete all steps of the  required application.

In addition to the college application, complete and submit all required documents to the college.
This will include:

• Request your official high school transcript through Parchment and have it sent to the college.
• Take the required tests for admission to Dual Enrollment - may include SAT, ACT, Accuplacer.
• Send test scores to the college via the testing agency.
• Other items required by the college; be sure to read their website carefully.

Check your email at least 1 time per week for additional instructions from the college. You should be checking the email you used on your Dual Enrollment college application.

Most colleges provide an application status check after submitting your application. Also check this weekly to ensure all documents have been received.

Research classes you want to take on the DE Course Directory at www.gafutures.org. Be sure you are looking at the correct college (use the drop-down list). The FCS Dual Enrollment Advisement Guide can also provide options that align to high school and college courses. You will need this information at your registration session with your college advisor.
