Staff Expectations

Player Expectations
- Be academically eligible
- Have an updated physical and all other paperwork uploaded to East Forsyth DragonFly
- Follow FCS code of conduct policies
- Participate in team fundraisers
- Be on time and wear proper attire for all team functions
- Adhere to our core values - E.A.S.T.T. Way
- Be at practice. Our trainers will help you rehab and return to play.
- Do right. Be where you are supposed to be, doing what you are supposed to do, when you are supposed to do it.
Parent Expectations
- Have your son on time and present for all team functions
- We will practice on Labor day and over Fall Break
- Encourage your son to work as hard as possible on and off the field
- Positively support all aspects of the program - At home, in the stands, and in the community
- Sign Player/Parent Contract and return (will be on TeamSnap)
- Get involved and volunteer your time. Your son will than you one day!
Communication
- Most information will come from your son
- Must learn to listen, retain, and communication information
- Coach to Player - (daily) verbal and team message platform
- TeamSnap
- Coach - weekly in season emails
- Booster or committee head - emails sent out for specific needs that may arise
- Follow the Chain of Command
- Play to Position Coach
- Player to Head Coach
- Parent contacts Head Coach and the Head Coach will set up a morning meeting
- Parent, Player, Position Coach, and Head Coach meet
- We will not discuss anything on a game day. 24 hour rule.
Fall Schedule
- General Schedule: Last week of July - November (fluid)
- Monday, Tuesday: 4-6:30 PM
- Wednesday
- Morning: Before School: 6-7:50 AM - Beginning of season
- After School: 4-6:30 PM - Later in season
- Thursday: 4-5:30 PM - Practice and then sub-varsity game
- Friday: 4-until done (varsity game)
- We will practice on Labor Day, September 7, 2026 and over Fall Break, September 28, 2026 - October 2, 2026
- We play games both weeks
- Practice times will change during Fall Break
Important Reminders
- No physical = no play
- Updated with all proper paperwork/insurance on DragonFly
- We cannot control the weather
- Practice times may shift due to heat, lightning, or severe weather
- Your son is expected to be at practice even if they are injured
- Injuries are part of the game. We have a trainer on site to help your son rehab
- If absences become chronic, than your son will be dismissed
- Coaches discretion
- We will practice on Labor Day and over Fall Break
