Club Description: The C.A.R.E Club (Cultural Awareness and Recognition at East) is a club for any and all students who want to help highlight and celebrate the diversity here at East. This club allows students to plan and lead initiatives at East that bring awareness to the different cultures and backgrounds within the student body. They also help plan International Night each Spring.

Club Description: The Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) is a student-led club that brings athletes and non-athletes together to grow in faith, build strong character, and encourage one another. Through meetings, discussions, and prayer, members explore how Christian values apply to sports, school, and everyday life. FCA seeks to inspire students to live with integrity, serve others, and use their influence to make a positive impact on their teams, school, and community.

Junior Class Council

Club Description: Junior Class Council is where leadership meets creativity and community fun. From day one, juniors help plan and run some of the biggest traditions at our school. The year kicks off with the Harvest Festival Trunk-or-Treat, where officers choose a theme and design interactive, themed games for children and families in our East Community. That same theme rolls right into the Homecoming Parade, with juniors decorating a vehicle and celebrating alongside local elementary and middle school students.

The highlight of the year is Junior/Senior Prom—and despite the name, this event is a gift entirely planned by juniors for the senior class. Junior Class Council members select the theme, design promotional materials, choose décor, and coordinate food and drinks to create an unforgettable night for seniors. Along the way, junior officers also support Executive Student Council events like Homecoming and pep rallies.

Sisters In Scripture

Club Description: Sisters in Scripture is a welcoming, student-led Bible study club for high school girls who want to grow in faith, friendship, and confidence. We come together to explore God’s Word, have real conversations about life, encourage one another, and build strong, supportive relationships rooted in Christ. Whether you’re new to the Bible or have grown up in church, Sisters in Scripture is a safe space to ask questions, share struggles, and strengthen your faith alongside other girls walking the same journey.

Club Description: Speech and Debate club supports students in developing strong public speaking skills and argumentation. Debate categories help students understand, listen, and articulate the merits of different sides of a topic (events include Lincoln Douglas and Public Forum Debate). Speech categories support students to do performances as well as create their own speeches to share with an audience (events include extemporaneous and impromptu speaking / original oratory / humorous and dramatic interpretations).
